What is MMO Sanctuary?
MMO Sanctuary is a website focused on the online gaming community, supporting and providing players with a free place to express their ideas and opinions about online gaming..  We offer related news, forums, and other features to our users.  We believe that censorship and the habit of ignoring or removing player comments is an unacceptable practice, and we encourage our users to speak their mind about any game they choose.  (Please read forum rules before posting though.)

Do you have to pay to use the site?
No.  MMO Sanctuary is a free site.

Is there a minimum age requirement to be a member?
Due to the fact that we allow more "profanity/swearing", it is recommended that members under age 13 have parents' permission to join.

What makes your forums different from other gaming community sites?
We not only have a broader range of online gaming discussion, but our moderation rules and policies offer members more freedom of expression.

Freedom of Expression?  Does that mean I can say whatever I want?
Not completely.  We care about ALL our members, and do not allow personal insults or attacks.  We also do not allow sexual content/discussions, or illegal activity of any kind.

Does the site have contests or give-aways for members?
Yes.  While we don't have a specific schedule for the events, there will be several planned for the near future and from then on.

Is MMO Sanctuary affiliated with any game developers or publishers?
No.  We are our own entity, and not owned or affiliated with any company or corporation.  We aren't in anyone's pocket.

You have ads for online games on your site.  Isn't that the same as the other community sites?
While we do accept banners for online games, we are particular about those we allow on our site.  We have higher, more specific standards than most of the other sites out there who will advertise for anyone willing to pay them a premium.  We see nothing wrong in allowing a quality game to get the word out about itself.
