Alliance of Valiant Arms Elicits Wagers from Players for Big Stakes

IRVINE, Calif. - May 17, 2010 - Alliance of Valiant Arms (A.V.A) fans are getting ready to put their money where their mice are.  ijji.com is teaming up with the World Online Gaming League to host an online tournament where the top A.V.A clans will compete for the $1,000 grand prize, and other runner-up prizes, on Saturday, May 22, 2010. Clans qualified by racking up one of the top 32 scores in the Clan Wars mode of ijji.com's Unreal Engine 3-powered multi-player online first-person shooter (MOFPS).

Tyrannis Pushed Back One Week

It looks like the team at CCP just aren't going to be able to hold that May 18th deadline, and have pushed it back one week.  Read on for the official statement from Senior Producer Torfi Frans Olafsson:

Get those opt-ins ready for the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm closed beta! The sundering of Azeroth is nigh, and you don’t want to be left out in the cold of Northrend when you could be enjoying the sun-drenched beaches on the goblin isle of Kezan. To ensure you’re opted-in and eligible as a potential candidate, you’ll need a World of Warcraft license attached to your Battle.net account, have your current system specifications uploaded to the Battle.net Beta Profile Settings page, and have expressed interest through the franchise-specific check boxes.

So get your opt-ins set up, updated, and ready; we're worgen real hard to get the beta going soon!

A: poz: The update after the first Adventure Pack (Serpent Lantern) will include another power review. We haven't decided which set or mechanism we're going to work on yet. Force and Electricity are near the top, but we're waiting to see how the Endurance Builder changes affect them first. Threat and pets are also pretty high on the list. Once we're clear of the endurance builder stuff, we'll figure out what's next.
